Terms of Service

1. About CityMakers

CityMakers is a team-based competition and learning platform. Users can participate in competition editions and challenges, collaborate in team workspaces, and submit projects.

CityMakers is operated by Association FabLab ("CityMakers", "we", "us").

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using CityMakers (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Accounts and eligibility

Some features require registration. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity performed through your account.

If you register on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to do so.

4. Community conduct

You agree not to post or send content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, deceptive, or that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights. You also agree not to spam users or misuse team, workspace, or submission features.

5. User Content (Team Details, Workspace Content, Project Submissions)

You may submit content, including team details, collaborative workspace content, and project submissions ("User Content").

You confirm that:

• you have the rights to publish the User Content, and
• it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and
• it does not violate laws or third-party rights.

You grant CityMakers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your User Content solely for operating, maintaining, and promoting the Service (e.g., enabling team collaboration, displaying project submissions, and supporting moderation).

Private team and workspace content is intended to be visible only to authorized team members, assigned moderators, and administrators, except where access is required for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or troubleshooting.

6. Moderation and enforcement

We may review, verify, edit, restrict, or remove content or accounts to protect the community and comply with legal requirements. We are not obliged to publish any submission.

7. Team collaboration

Team workspaces are provided as collaboration tools. We do not guarantee delivery, response, or accuracy of user contributions. Users are responsible for their interactions.

8. Not a marketplace

CityMakers is not a marketplace, payment processor, broker, or seller. Any agreements between users (e.g., commissions, purchases, collaborations) are the sole responsibility of the parties involved.

9. Security and acceptable use

You may not:

• attempt unauthorized access or disrupt the Service
• upload malware or exploit vulnerabilities
• scrape, harvest, or bulk-download data without permission

10. Third-party services and links

The Service may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

11. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms; changes apply once published on CityMakers.

12. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that project submissions, learning content, or information are complete, accurate, or available.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CityMakers is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for disputes between users and third parties.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina, unless mandatory consumer laws require otherwise.
