How do you go from a good idea to a submitted project on the CityMakers platform?
This guide explains, step by step, how to use the CityMakers challenge platform at challenge.citymakers.ba, from creating your account to your final submission and Demo Day. Annotated screenshots show every button and field you will use.
Participants will learn how to register, complete their profile, find their challenge, and read its brief, requirements and deliverables. The guide also covers the two competition tracks: the Basic track for high school students and the Advanced track for university students and young professionals.
From Team to Submission
The guide shows how a team leader creates a team and invites up to four teammates, and what invited students need to do to accept. It then explains the team workspace: writing the project together in real time, uploading presentations and other files, keeping a team diary in the Progress tab, and using the submission checklist.
There is no submit button: the platform automatically submits the team's work at the deadline. The guide explains what this means and how to get ready in time.
Finale, Demo Day and Help
For finalist teams, the guide explains how to choose a Finale challenge and open the Finale workspace before presenting in person at Demo Day. It ends with how to use the learning materials, a troubleshooting FAQ, a glossary of key terms, and good habits for working as a team.
The goal is to help every team use the platform confidently, so they can focus on developing solutions to real urban mobility challenges.
